Annette Dasch

Soprano singer Annette Dasch studied at the University of Music in Munich, Germany, with Professor Josef Loibl. Her international career started in 2000, when she was the winner of several contests, such as the Concours de Genève and the Maria Callas Contest in Barcelona. Since that time, Annette Dasch has sung on national and international stages such as the Bavarian National Opera in Munich, the Opéra National de Paris, the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels or the New National Theatre in Tokyo. Concerts and song recitals took her e.g. to the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg and the Folle Journée de Nantes. Annette Dasch works with renowned international conductors such as Seiji Ozawa, Daniel Barenboim, Nikolaus Harnoncourt and Sir Simon Rattle. At the Salzburg Festival in 2007, she could be seen in the title role of Amida.

In June 2007, Annette Dasch published her first aria album for which she was awarded the Echo Klassik 2008 as best aria recording. She is also the founder of the »Daschsalon« in Berlin where she helps classical music find new audiences in an unconventional way.
