WOLFRAM LAMPARTER

Wolfram Lamparter

Between 1983 and 1989, Wolfram Lamparter studied music, with trumpet as his major, at the music academies of Stuttgart and Mannheim, Germany. During this time he played in various orchestras such as that of the Mannheim National Theatre and the Pfalztheater in Kaiserslautern. After graduating, Lamparter entered the music academy in Mannheim to complete two-year postgraduate studies and obtain a postgraduate artist’s degree.

Lamparter’s career steps include working as a project manager for the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra before he joined the orchestra management team of the SWR Symphony Orchestra Baden-Baden and Freiburg. At first he was responsible for project management, tour planning and public relations. Since 2009, Lamparter has been working exclusively in the area of music education and public relations.

In 2008/09 Lamparter was in charge of the music project »Der Schrei!« (The Scream!) which has been recommended by the Netzwerk Junge Ohren e.V.: 200 young people and a professional orchestra worked together and interpreted the subject »scream« in its different facets.
